Founded in 1948, MassOne Insurance is an independent insurance agency based in Western Massachusetts. Our mission is to provide a fast, courteous, and competitively priced conduit for insurance products to the residents and businesses of our region.

While we may have contractual relationships with various insurance companies, we work for our customers. It is our responsibility to offer guidance, options, and advice regarding the protection of our customers’ lives, health, and assets.

In striving to meet these goals, we will do so respecting the rights of all parties. We deal honestly and openly with our companies, customers, and staff.

MassOne is a proud member of Alliance Berkshire, a group of six independently-owned agencies in Western Massachusetts formed for carrier representation and market strength and to give our customers the best possible products available to meet their needs. Collectively, we have 75 employees; 20 property and casualty insurance markets; 14 life, accident, and health insurance markets; and a broad range of expertise and resources to offer. Our employees in Greenfield, South Deerfield and Shelburne Falls currently serve more than 10,000 policyholders and 1,200 commercial clients.

MassOne Insurance has been selected to be part of an elite group of independent insurance agencies around the united States participating in the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (IIABA) "Best Practices" Study Group.

More than 900 independent agencies throughout the U.S. were nominated to take part in the annual study, but only 195 agencies qualified for the honor. To be chosen, agencies had to be the top-performing agencies in their revenue category. The agency was nominated by either an IIABA affiliated state association or an insurance company and qualified based on its outstanding customer services, growth, stability and financial management.
